The PowerCore 5000 is a 5kW isolated DC-DC converter designed for industrial control cabinets, rail traction auxiliary supplies, and renewable energy systems. It accepts a wide input range and delivers a regulated, galvanically isolated output with active current limiting and over-temperature protection. Conformal-coated PCBs and a sealed aluminium enclosure support operation in vibration-heavy environments.

Reliable under heavy vibration on rolling stock
We specified the PowerCore 5000 as the auxiliary power converter for a metro rolling stock retrofit. Across 40 units installed, we have not had a single field failure in 14 months, including units exposed to constant vibration and temperature swings on unconditioned platforms. EN 50155 documentation was thorough and made our certification process much easier. Support was responsive when we needed custom output voltage tap confirmation.
