Terms & Conditions
Last updated: June 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or otherwise using HardwareHive, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. Account registration
You must provide accurate information when registering an account. Engineers and vendors are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under their account. We reserve the right to suspend or block accounts that violate these terms.
3. Vendor obligations
Vendors registering a company and listing products must provide accurate, non-misleading product information. HardwareHive may verify, reject, or revoke a company's verification status at its discretion if listed information is found to be inaccurate, fraudulent, or in violation of these terms. Unverified companies and their products may be hidden from public search results.
4. Reviews & content
Engineers submitting reviews must do so based on genuine product experience. Reviews must not contain false claims, defamatory content, or unrelated promotional material. HardwareHive reserves the right to remove, flag, or hide reviews that violate this policy, and to block accounts found to be submitting fraudulent reviews.
5. Intellectual property
Product names, logos, and trademarks displayed on HardwareHive remain the property of their respective owners. The HardwareHive name, logo, and platform design are the property of HardwareHive and may not be reproduced without permission.
6. Limitation of liability
HardwareHive is an information platform connecting hardware vendors and engineers. We do not manufacture, sell, or warrant any products listed on the platform, and we are not a party to any transaction between vendors and engineers. HardwareHive is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for decisions made based on listings or reviews on the platform.
7. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate access to your account if you violate these terms, including but not limited to fraudulent listings, fake reviews, or abusive behavior. Blocked accounts may retain read-only access to the platform but lose the ability to submit reviews, products, or other content.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from use of HardwareHive shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Eindhoven, Netherlands.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
